Bryan Schmitt · IT Project Manager · Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts (13)

14 years making
tools talk
to each other.

What drives me: turning complexity into flow. API connections, data synchronization, smart workflows and agentic AI — I design the integration architectures that make life easier for teams and clients alike.

A dual technical and managerial skill set: I architect integrations and RAG systems, and I coach my team towards autonomy. Automation isn't an option, it's leverage. If a process can be automated, I automate it. And if it can't… I dig until it can.

About

Bryan Schmitt

I've been passionate about technology since I was a kid. The web was the natural fit: it's the only place where code and design constantly talk to each other.

Above all, I'm profoundly lazy. Automating recurring tasks started as a way to free up time for more interesting things — then automation itself became the most interesting thing.

With the workflows I've set up across the companies I've worked for, I've probably saved several decades of cumulative work time. I was never paid pro rata to the time saved, though.

How I manage
Close to people and attentive. I have no problem being challenged on my ideas — that's often how we find the right one.
What I'm looking for
Product over one-shot production: building and nurturing internal and external tools for the long run.
How I stay current
A lot of YouTube. Yesterday about development, today almost exclusively about AI and its concrete uses.
